Why not come to the movies Friday night and share an enjoyable 101 minutes just chilling out? Avenue Montaigne is a warm wonderful story which takes place in contemporary Paris. It follows a young ingenue who goes to Paris because she has heard her grandmother tell her for the one hundredth time, stories about her own youthful adventures in Paris. She wants to see it all for herself Admittedly, most of the story is implausible. How can one explain how this young girl from the country gets intimately involved in the lives of a world famous concert pianist, a famous French television/movie star, one of France’s richest men, his rich and handsome son, a famous movie director (played by real life movie director Sydney Pollack) and a myriad of other characters who work on the Avenue Montaigne?
