Those members of the Planning Commission who were most in favor of Bill’s proposal and other supporters do not live in the StonewallHawthome district. I wonder how they would react if I proposed a sewage treatment facility in their backyards? Furthermore, A1 Henry is a close friend and business associate of Bill’s-he should have recused himself Does the Planning Commission not have ethical guidelines?
Most of Rappahannock County’s residents believe that the county is unique, especially in light of the urban sprawl and commercialization that surrounds it in Northern Virginia and other surrounding counties, and that the county’s natural beauty commands respect. This attitude is amply reflected in the County’s Comprehensive Plan. The essence of the County is rural agricultural and associated activities, not commercialization and development.
