The Washington Post Office had their Customer Appreciation Day last Tuesday, Oct. 23. Yvonne, the post master, was nice to give Rappahannock News a phone call, for the crew to come up and get some refreshments.

Wow! What a spread they had, from homemade cakes and cookies baked by Nina Shepardson to ice cold cider. The winner of the $25 gift card, was Donald Keyser, Sr., of Washington. The community thanks all the workers at the post office for their day of appreciation. Thanks to Yvonne, Nina, Betty, Bobby and Karen for making a special day for the customers.

Let’s remember Lois and Willie McFarland in our prayers. They were in a car accident in Culpeper last Monday, Oct. 22. They are staying with their daughter, Peggy until both recuperate.

Also Mary Gray of Washington is under the weather. We hope she’ll be feeling better soon.

Belated birthday wishes go out to Steven Alther of Washington. He celebrated his day on BOOOOOO, Halloween Day, Oct. 31.

Also a special belated birthday wish goes out to Mitzi Young of Washington. She celebrated her day on Monday, Oct. 29.

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to Washington, Ray Gooch! The community hopes that you are here to stay for good! We all have missed your face around town on the weekends.
