Amissville resident
Everett Randolph Smith, Sr. of Amissville, VA died on October 28 at his residence.
He was bom on January 30, 1929 to the late Paul Jackson and Myrtle Mae Smith.
Mr. Smith served in the United States Army as an engineer and retired from the Warrenton Training Center after 31 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department for 33 yrs.
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Hitt Smith, his son Everett R. Smith, Jr., two daughters Wanda Lou Smith and Eva Mae Smith and a brother James William Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by his daughters Nancy Wiles and her husband Jim of Amissville, Karen Williams and her husband Bruce of Chester Gap, VA, Tammy Martin and her husband Darrell of Alexandria, VA and a son Joseph Smith of Amissville.
