Nov 1: Spay and Neuter Program
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), in collaboration with the Shenandoah Valley Spay and Neuter Clinic, continues monthly trips to fix pets. Under this new program, costs of “fixing” pets are reduced dramatically. Line up your dog or cat for one of the van trips to Harrisonburg and pay far less than usual for this service. Owners register and pay in person in advance at the RAWL shelter in Amissville. First come, first served. For further information, call the shelter at 540-937-3283 any time between 8 a.m. and 1 p. m. seven days a week. Vfes, you can reach someone every morning.

The Special Education Advisory Committee will meet from 3:50 to 4:50 p.m. at the high school Hbrary Present Committee members include Rev. Open to any and aH parents, teachers, community members that wish to attend and learn more about inclusion and participate in the discussion of how we can improve each Rappahannock student’s classroom experience. Come out and meet Connie Compton Smith this weekend. Friday night from 6-8 p.m. shell be at toe Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company; Saturday from 2-4 p.m. she’ll be at the Castteton Volunteer Fire Department and on Sunday, you can meet her from 2-4 p.m. at the Chester Gap toknteer Fire Department. There will be free food for aH at each event including hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and soda. Please come meet Connie!
