Iam proud to have been instrumental in forming the Rappahannock County TRIAD program. This program builds relationships between law enforcement and oqr senior citizens, to stop victimization and abuse of our elderly citizens. We will continue to seek programs to aid in the safety and care of our elderly loved ones. We will continue our impressive D.A.R.E program, Christmas in July Program, and School Resource Officer Program to inform our children of the consequences of using drugs and provide school safety. We will continue to work closely with our School System to update and build better Crisis Response Plans, to insure safety of our children and security of our schools. We will continue our Jail Contract Bed Program 1 initiated and seek other jail programs to offset our jail costs. We will continue our trustee program, which saves our taxpayers thousands of dollars every year. We recently joined a multi-jurisdictional information-sharing network, at no cost to our taxpayers, which should be operational by January or February 2008. We win strengthen our relationship between the Sheriff*s Office and Fire and Rescue Services through Communication and Collaboration.
