Brooke P&rkhurst moved to Rappahannock several years ago. She has been a caring and involved community member since arriving here, contributing her talents to several fundraisers including RAWL and the Sidney Dodson Fund.
Proceeds from the concert will go to a fund to replace Washington Fire Department’s 35 year old tanker.
So, what does a new tanker cost? Somewhere in the neighborhood of $425,000.
Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue is hoping folks will come out and show their support by joining them for an exciting evening of acoustic blues and Appalachian music. Tickets are $15 at the door, or in advance by calling Washington VoL Fire and Rescue, 675-3615.
