Little Washington

The Washington Hospitality and Visitors Association puts on their third annual Christmas in Little Washington event starting with the parade at 1 p.m. Premiering this year will be an Artisan's Market featuring unique gift items. The market will be held in the Ki Theatre as well as Town Had. Washington Baptist Church will be decorating gingerbread and have their traditional Brunswick Stew. Dec. 6: “Buy Resit, Buy Local”

To explore the development of Virginia-based local and regional food systems and dscuss a variety of local farm and food projects, the Virginia Cooperative Extension is hosting a one-day conference titled “Connecting Rums, Food and Communities - Developing the Producer, Market, Table Link” at Graves Mountain Lodge om Route 670. Conference is from 9 am. to 4:30 p.m. Cost of $20 includes lunch, refreshments and materials.
