On October 19, 2007, The Board of Visitors of James Madison University filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission for a construction permit for a reserved channel noncommercial educational broadcast station on Channel 201A for Amissville, Virginia. The proposed transmitter will be located at Mt. Zion Church Road, North-east of.Culpeper, with an effective radiated power of 2.1 kilowatts and ananantenna height of 125 Meters above average terrain. The proposed main studio will be located at 983 Reservoir Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Board of Visitors is comprised of Charles H. Foster, Jr., Dr. Meridith S. Gunter, Stephen R.
