Earlier this year, the paper carried a report on the suspicious death of Mark Christopher Jenkins. He had been dropped off at Warren County Memorial hospital in Front Royal where is was pronounced dead. The two arrested in that case were Kathryn Rebecca Teel and Daniel Mason, both of Rappahannock County.
Teel was charged with possession of heroin and is awaiting trail. A search warrant was executed on Mason’s residence at 469 Fodderstack Road in which several narcotics-related items were recovered by Lt. J.C. Welch of the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Office.
Mason is in custody and is charged with several felonies including felony possession of firearms and possession of controlled substances.
