Cut cherry tomatoes in half. Arrange on a platter. Sprinkle with a little less vinegar than you think you need. Top with a generous handful of your favorite fresh herbs.
Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Add bread crumbs. Toss to coat. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until lightly brown and fragrant. Sprinkle over tomatoes hot from the pan and serve immediately.
