Snyder has been involved with Hospice of the Rapidan and hospice care in the area in one capacity or another almost since its inception. He was President of the Virginia State Hospice Association in 1986 and continues to be an advocate of the hospice philosophy today.
The event also will honor community residents John James of Orange, a landscape architect who has been a key member of Hospice of the Rapidan’s land search committee and recently elected president of the board of directors with Hospice of the Rapidan, and Thomas E. Reynolds, M D. with Culpeper Family Practice and former Medical Director for Hospice of the Rapidan.
The black tie gala will feature dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions.
