Domestic calls on the rise
There has been an increase in the number of domestic calls - those involving family members in arguments, threatened or actual violence - said Rappahannock County Sheriff Connie Smith.
“People arguing about money, about medical bills, those out of work," she said on Tuesday in a briefing with the Rappahannock News.
