A search warrant obtained by the Rappahannock News states that Teel told investigators that she and Jenkins went to Mason’s house where they both “injected heroin using a syringe.” Later, she and Mason discovered that Jenkins was not breathing. Teel told investigators she attempted to give Jenkins CPR.
She and Mason then drove Jenkins to Front Royal, according to the statement in the warrant, but while en-route to the emergency room, “they stopped by a 7-11 to get cigarettes.”
Among the items found when the search warrant was executed at Mason’s residence were: drug paraphernalia, a bag of marijuana, assorted pills, a handgun and ammunition, bedsheet with a dark stain, swabs with red stains, according to the warrant.
Mason is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court on Aug. 25. There is no court date set for Teel.
