Mrs. Virginia Miller, after being elected president of the Rappahannock Historical Society, agreed to do it “one more year, only.” Officers were elected at the June meeting of this group on the 7th. Named vice president was E. M. Jones after the bylaws were amended to include both a first and second vice president.

Named to these positions respectively, were E. M. Jones and Mrs. Sally Sharp, both of Washington while Mrs. Roberta Anderson of Woodville was selected as treasurer and Mrs. Juanda Rodgers Flint Hill, as secretary.
