Mrs. John Creel of Culpeper was a Friday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wayland. Sunday, the Rev. Hoover Heflin of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. John Dodson of Culpeper, Mrs. Lester Deal, Joyce and Joe Deal were their dinner guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Johnson, Ricky and Kristie Johnson had dinner Sunday at Boxwood House Restaurant in honor of the birthday of Mr. Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Man waring celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary at their home Red Oak Ranch. Guests included Dr. and Mrs. Larry Manwaring and family of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Manwaring, ‘ Jenny and Mike, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Manwaring, Gina and Lisa, Mr. and'Mrs. K. P. Grigsby, Kerry and Sandra.

Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke and Mrs. Paul Grigsby joined other members of the family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. K. P. Grigsby Sunday for a cook-out.

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Rowe of Angola, Ind., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Gark and Misty Hitt last week. Weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Glasser of Egg Harbor, N. J., Mr. and Mrs. Collier Fox of Luray and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Taylor, Bernie and Paige of Rixeyville.

James Ripley and Greg Reid of the University of Tennessee were overnight guests Thursday of Harry Stephenson. Dr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Ripley and Miss Constance Ripley, enroute from Knoxville, Tenn., to Cape Cod, were his Friday visitors.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Harris were recent overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson enroute from Old Fort, N. C. to Washington, D. C.
