In accordance with State Department of Education regulations, information regarding tuitioh assistance for certain handicapped children is being made available to parents by the Rappahannock County Public Schools.
Tuition assistance is available through the Rappahannock County School Board to the parents of eligible handicapped children who are enrolled in approved private nonsectarian schools for the handicapped.
In order to be eligible for tuition assistance, a handicapped child must be between two and twenty-one years of age, as of December 31, 1977.
Children eligible for tuition assistance include those who are mentally retarded, physically handicapped, emotionally disturbed, learning disabled, hearing impaired, multiple handicapped and visually impaired. State Department of Education guidelines are used in. determining
