While women have made inroads into many traditionally male occupations, it’s still rare to find a female blacksmith. Sheree said she’s always liked working with horses but couldn’t remember when the idea started to become a farrier. “I’ve been told h just runs in the family. Both of my grandparents were blacksmiths.”
