“There are three kinds of horses—ornery, scared and nice.” Recognizing a nice horse presents no problem at all but learning to tell the difference between ornery and scared takes time and practice, Sheree maintained. The -two categories require two entirely different approaches and if the farrier confuses the types, problems with frightened animals are aggravated, she explained.
Sheree’s careful and she takes her job seriously. "If something goes wrong with a horse’s foot, he’s not good for much.”
