Occupying the former Barb residence for the summer is the Rev. Richard O’Brien, Professor of Linguistics in the School of Languages in Georgetown University, Washington, D. C. The Rev. Joseph S. Pendergast, Professor of Classical Languages at Loyola University in Chicago is vacationing with Mr. O’Brien. Their weekend guests were Dr. and Mrs. William Higgins of Arlington.
Saturday evening Mrs. Herbert Williams, Norma and Bruce attended the Culpeper High School graduation when Karen Smith of Amissville was among the graduates. Sunday Norma Jean and her brother, | Douglass of Front Royal, left | on a two-week’s vacation to Tennessee. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sealock of Centerville were weekend guests of his parents, the Alfred Sealocks. Mrs. James Fox and children attended a luncheon Thursday in Strasburg and Saturday the Fox family attended a picnic in Front Royal honoring the birthday of their pastor, the Rev. Alden Yates. Mrs. Alma Young of Stephens City and Mrs. Ethel Haslam of Front Royal were recent visitors in the James E. Williams home. Maynard Williams of Front Royal was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Michael North of Front Royal visited Mr. and Mrs. Edward Goranson Friday evening. The Goransons were Saturday dinner guests of Arthur Solona in his fountain home.
