Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Compton, Mrs. Eunice Partlow of Culpeper, Mrs. E. W. Gore and Mrs. Earl Wayland were visitors of Mrs. Henry Brown and Miss Elva Bruce.

Mrs. Bruce Brown entered University of Virginia Hopsital Monday for tests and observations.

Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler of Huntly visited their father, Charles Butler, and grandmother, Mrs. Amos Butler.

Mrs. Larry Connors accompanied Mrs. Elmer Atkins and Miss Judy Atkins of Sperryville and Mrs. Charles Kelley of Pennsylvania on a weekend sightseeing tour of Williamsburg. During their absence, Jennifer Connors spent the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Connors.

Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson entertained Monday evening in honor of the birthday of Clyde Johnson. Present were Mrs. Johnson, Ricky and Kristie Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson who were joined by Mrs. Jessie Dailey and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Highlander of Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. George Bain of Washington, their grandchildren Jeremy and Danielle Griffith of Reston and Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance of Sperryville were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. Henry Wood and the H. B. Wood family. Preston Pulliam of Warrenton was their Monday luncheon guest.

Bobby Tichenell left Saturday for Camp Rock Enon to assume his position for the summer.

Mrs. Mary Wood of Washington was a Saturday guest of her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs.
