In an apparent attempt to circumvent Rappahannock Zoning Ordinance regulations, developed C. L. Goode has filed an amendment to the original plat on his 14-lot five-acre subdivision outside of Flint Hill. In the amendment recorded on October 25, Goode proposed three small subdivisions—all five lots or less.
According to Rappahannock Zoning Administrator Evan McNear, Goode acknowledged that the amendment was an attempt to get around ordinance stipulations. County zoning regulations require rezoning to residential for five-acre subdivisions with more than five lots proposed for agricultural or
