The General Educational Development (GEB-Test), for those'persdhS Whi> were once enrolled in school but who did not complete graduation requirements, will be given on Saturday, December 3, 1977 and Saturday, December 10, 1977 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Warren County High School, Luray Avenue, Front Royal, Virginia. Attendance at both sessions is necessary to complete the entire battery of tests.
The battery of five tests in English Composition, Social Studies, Natural Science, Literature and Mathematics are designed to measure the major skills that result from four-year high school curriculum.
Certificates may be issued to civilian and military personnel who meet the following requirements:
An applicant must be at least 19 years of age. Under special circumstances which are considered justifiable by local school authorities, the age limit may be lowered.
Applicants must have been a physical resident of Virginia thirty days prior to applying for testing.
Persons interested in taking the test may apply at their local office of the Superintendent of Schools in the County in which he resides. Applications will be accepted through December 1, 1977. A fee of S7.50 is charged for the battery of five tests and SI.SO for each retest. Applicants who apply must present their Social Security Card when an application is made for GED.
