I’d like to express my view on one of the reasons why kids today don’t learn in school as well as their parents did. Many of the teachers are not as dedicated and concerned with teaching as in our school days. * I’d like to share some experiences I have had with the Rappahannock Elementary School.
My son came home from school recently and said that during the changing of the classes, his pencil had been stolen from his desk. His next class was English and his teacher told them they were going to have a test. He asked his teacher if he could borrow a pencil; her reply was “no.” Consequently my son received a zero on the test. When he came home and told me his teacher
