The mail election for ASC community committeemen is in progress now and ballots were mailed November 25 to all persons eligible to vote in the farmer committee elections. The final date for mailing voted ballots, or for dropping them off at the county ASCS office, is December 5. If you did not receive your ballot please contact your ASCS office. Ballots will be counted on December 7th in the county ASCS office in Washington, Virginia with the public invited to attend.
ASC community committeemen not only elect members of the ASC county committee, but also assist the county committee throughout the year in the administration of federal farm programs locally.
