NATALIE SWINDLER Everyone hai returned from a Thanksgiving vacation that was much too short. School has been rather '^hazardous with the absence of Mr. Toth.
The second six weeks period has already ended and report cards came out Wednesday. Parents, be on the lookout if you have yet to see your kids’ report cards.
On November 22, the boys basketball team scrimmaged against Brentsville. Both teams came out with a victory. The varsity played at home and at the end of four fr- quarters, the score was 54 to 68. The team members played well together and show great promise for a winning season.
The junior varsity team traveled to Brentsville High. Mr. Adkins drove the bus for the team and several members wondered if they would make it in one piece, for the bus was in rather bad condition. They made it through to no avail of the J. V. Brentsville team. After playing seven quarters, our J. V.s were on top without a doubt with a score of 105 to 67. Way to do it fellows!
Friday opens up the season for both teams. They’ll be playing Clarke County at home so everybody come out and support our teams. You’ll be sure and get your money’s worth.
