It seems to me that many of the teachers only go to school to draw a pay check. It is our tax dollar that pays the teachers’ salaries. We, as citizens, of the county, are paying these teachers to do a good job, but if this is the type of response we are getting in the schools, it is no wonder why mjmy children can bafeiy read or write when they '’graduate from high school. I don’t believe that the total blame can be put on the children. If my experience is typical as to what occurs in the schools, then the children are really victims, of not the school system, but the incompetent teachers.
