Lions Honored
Membership growth achieved by the Rappahannock Lions Club was honored by acknowledgement on the front page of the Lions District 24-A Newsletter for 1977. Since the Lions year began on July 1, only two clubs out of 73 in the district added more new members than the Rappahannock Lions. Alexandria and Colonial Beach organizations each had a net gain of nine new members, compared to Rappahannock’s gain of eight.
