Pictures
The Slate Mills Baptist Church will present a Christmas program entitled “Christmas in Living Pictures” by Marilyn Millikan, Sunday evening, December 18 at 6:30 p.m. This is a service of singing, speaking, x and pantomining by the young people and adult choirs.
Following the program everyone is invited to go caroling throughout the community and return to the church for refreshments. The program committee cordially invites the public to attend.
Solar
Workshop
The Virginia Energy Office and the Department of Energy will sponsor a oneday solar energy conference on January 19 at the Key Bridge Marriott-Inn in Arlington. The conference will include a forum for a review and discussion of current solar technology; the technical and economical feasibility of solar heating and cooling; and consumer protection for persons who invest in solar facilities. A later workshop will offer technical information in the proper installation of solar equipment.
