Mrs. Mary Quaintance entertained at bridge on Wednesday evening in honor of Mrs. Sally Palmer of Lawrenceville. Guests included Mrs. George Davis, Mrs. H. M. Keyser of Washington, Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Brown Miller and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer. Prizes were given to Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Maeyer.
Mrs. Mary Kushner of Flushing, N. Y. and Dr. and Mrs. Larry Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. were recent guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown.
Dr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance with Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer, Nicole, Heidi and Jonathan spent from Thursday to Sunday with Mrs. Quaintance’s sister, Mrs. Richard Smith in Alloway, N. J. for a preChristmas family celebration.
Mrs. W. H. Lyne visited Mrs. W. G. Wright on Tuesday at the Mennonite Nursing Home in Harrisonburg. It was Mrs. Wright’s 90th birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Bayne of Brentwood, Md. visited Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins and other relatives in the county on Tuesday.
Mrs. R. E. Thompsen and Mrs. Frances Tabler spent from Monday to Wednesday in the metropolitan area where Mrs. Thompsen was a guest of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompsen in Vienna. Mrs. Tabler visited her daughter, Mrs. Frank Marcey in Falls Church and attended the 88th birthday party for Mrs. Sarah Tabler in Wheaton, Md. Monday evening. Tuesday evening, Mrs. Thompsen and Mrs. Tabler were guests at a Christmas bridge party at the home of Mrs. Lynn Stucky in Falls Church. Mrs. Tabler was a Wednesday brunch guest of Mrs. Mildred Myers.
