On November 27, Mr*. Anna, Rider was taken from the home of Charlie Kerns near Flint Hill to Warren Memorial Hospital by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad. The ^Washington Rescue Squad carried Mrs. Alice Vemer from Prince William Hospital to Fauquier Hospital on November 30.

The Washington Rescue Squad transported Madie Hudson to Warren Memorial on December 1 and also were called to the home of James Norvell in Amissville the same day. On December 3, this rescue squad joined a search for William Grigsby near Rock Mills. William Peyton was taken to his home in Washington from Warren Memorial Hospital by this unit on December 4.

Also on December 4, the Flint Hill Rescue Squad carried Benjamin Frazier to Warren Memorial from his home in Chester Gap. The Flint Hill Fire Dept, was called to a house fire on Dr. Eastham’s property near Huntly on December 8. On December 13, Lucy Estes was taken from her home near Washington to Warren Memorial Hospital and back home again by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad.

On December 6, the Sperryville Rescue Squad transported Nattie Fields from Prince William Hospital in Manassas to Fauquier Hospital on doctor’s orders. This unit took Dick Maley of Front Royal from an automobile accident on Rt. 231 to Warren Memorial Hospital on December 9. On December 10, this squad carried Randolph Launch also of Front Royal from an automobile accident on Rt. 522 south of Sperryville to Warren Memorial.

On December 8, the Washington Fire Dept, was on stand-by for the Eastham fire in Huntlv.
