At Flint Hill the residence of Mr. and Mrs. William Monroe was entered on December 4 when a large window at the side of the house was smashed. Among articles taken were a digital pedometer, magnifier and a sleeping bag.

According to Sheriff W. A. Buntin and Deputy R. D. Hawkins who investigated the incidents, the goods taken from all of these break-ins totaled only about S35S.

Sheriff Buntin requests that anyone who notices strange vehicles or suspicious persons in any area notify his department. Many of the break-ins occur at homes where people are only parttime residents and often go unnoticed for long periods of time.
