were Danny Jett, with 13 points and Donnie Compton, with 14. Donnie was also on the top with rebounding, pulling down 11 big ones. Greg Stump was second with 7, and Danny Jett and Gary Settle both had 5. Do it guys! The Junior Varsity lost a super close game, their final score being 51-49. Coach Logan was still very pleased with his team, for they “didn’t let up when the chips were down.” Three of the Junior Varsity Panthers scored in double figures, led by Greg Bright with 17, followed by Gary Leake with 14 and Steve Mucciarone with 11. Gary Leake pulled down 11 rebounds, while Greg Bright was close behind with 9. The game taught the guys a hard-learned lesson, and they feel they are ready for any other opponent that should face them.
This is the last full week of school, next week we only have to go for 3 days. Everyone feels pretty good about that!
