A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Lizzie Estes Corder. She was the widow of Dewey DeJarnette Hudson and a member of the old Mt. Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Herndon Hudson, Edward Hudson, Whitfield Hudson and Henry Hudson, all of Washington, and Granville Hudson of Flint Hill; four daughters, Mrs. Doris Coughlin of Castleton, Mrs. Mary Williams of Flint Hill, Mrs. Frances Payne of Culpeper and Mrs. Phyllis Yancey of Viewtown; 19 grandchildren and S greatgrandchildren.
The family requests that flowers be omitted. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial contributions be given to the Washington Rescue Squad.
