Raymond P. Kuttcnkulcr, District Director of the Small Business Administration’s Richmond Office, today issued a reminder to all farmers who sustained crop losses as a result of the 1977 drought, that the deadline for accepting Physical Injury Disaster Loan Applications is December 30, 1977. These loans bear an annual interest rate of 3 per cent on the first $250,000 and 6s/* per cent on that portion exceeding $250,000.
Under the current SBA drought disaster declaration, the farmer’s 1977 crop loss represents the maximum amount which can be .covered by the disaster loan, and up to 50 per cent of any loan can be applied toward payment of debts incurred in 1977. The Small Business Administration does not require that an applicant exhaust all other sources of financial assistance prior to filing a disaster crop loan application with SBA. Wakefield
Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly will hold its annual Christmas Program on Friday evening, December 16.
The program will include a procession, a Nativity scene by First Graders, carol singing, instrumental performances, and a Christmas play.
The Wakefield Chorus, under the direction of Mrs. Alice Cussen will present two special pieces. Arnold Glass will play a violin solo; Anne Huber, clarinetist, and Winona Ammons, flutist will provide musical accompaniment for a soprano solo by Halimah Holliday. Upper level students will present a play, “The Talking Animals,” written by Mrs. Pamela Lynn, a teacher at the school. Leading parts in the play will be acted by Holly Hutt, Andrew Alien,' Mircea Moody, Tara Labovitz, Wynn Voeks, and Kim Aylor. The public is invited to attend the program which will be held in the school auditorium, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
