Tonight, Thursday evening, at 8 p.m. the youth of Washington Baptist Church will have a homemade ice cream party to welcome Miss Cindy Harris, who will be their Youth Director for the summer. Any community youth (grades 712) not already involved in another church are welcome.
Miss Harris is in a program sponsored by the General Board of the Baptist General Association of Virginia which makes available numerous opportunities for Baptist college students to spend their summers in Christian ministries. Besides working with youth. Miss Harris will be involved in many phases of the church such as visitation, WMU, worship and music.
