Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk (area formerly constituting Nansemond County) and Virginia Beach; and east of U.S. Route 95 in the counties of Caroline, Chesterfield, Fairfax, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, Prince George, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Sussex. R 16-6.2. It shall be lawful to take raccoon by trapping on the George Washington National Forest and on the Gathright, Goshen, G. Richard Thompson, Highland, Little North Mountain and Rapidan Wildlife Management Areas from November 1 through December 31, both dates inclusive.
CHAPTER 18. Turkey. R18 2.1. It shall be lawful to hunt bearded turkeys only from April 14 through May 12, 1979, both dates inclusive, from one-half hour before sunrise to 11 o'clock a m. Bearded turkeys shall be hunted by calling. It shall be unlawful to use dogs or organize drives, for the purpose of hunting.
CHAPTER 19. Waterfowl and Waterfowl Blinds. R19-4.2. No stationary waterfowl blinds shall be licensed, and no stationary or floating blind license shall be required for hunting waterfowl on the Game Farm Marsh Wildlife Management Area, or in, or on, the public waters on the Chickahominy River, north of the New Kent Charles City County line adjacent thereto; provided, however, that this regulation shall not abridge the privileges prescribed for landowners, and their lessees and permittees, in Paragraph 29 85 and 29 88, Code of Virginia.
CHAPTER 23. Fishing Generally. R23 6 It shall be unlawful to import, cause to be imported, buy, sell or offer for sale or liberate within the State any of the following fishes: Piranha (any of genus Serrasalmus, Rooseveltiella, Pygocentrus), walking catfish (any of genus Clarias), cichlid (Texas) perch (Cichlasoma cynoguttatum) or grass carp (any of genus Ctenopharyngodon) unless a permit therefor it first obtained from the Commission
CHAPTER 24. Trout Fishing. R24 1 Except as otherwise specifically provided in the regulations appearing in this chapter, the open angling season for trout shall be from twelve o'clock noon the first Saturday in April through February 15, both dates in elusive. Except for the first day, angling during the season shall be permitted from five a m until one hour after sunset R24 9 1 For the purposes of this chapter "artificial lure with single barbless hook" shall mean any single hook lure from which the barb has been removed or rendered inoperable and shall include manufactured or handmade flies, spinners, plugs, spoons and facsimiles of live animals, but shall not be construed to include artificial fish eggs
CHAPTER 31 Accident and Casualty Reporting. R31 3. In addition to the notification required by R31 2, the operator of a vessel shall submit a written casualty or accident report to the Com mission when, as a result of an occurrence that involves the vessel or its equipment (1) a person dies, (2) a person is unable to perform normal or usual activities, (3) damage to the vessel and other property damaqe totals more than two hundred dollars, or (4) a person disappears from the vessel under cir cumstances that indicate probable death or injury A written report required by this regulation must be made (1) within forty eight hours of the occurrence; (2) within forty eight hours of the occurrence if a person is unable to per form normal or usual ac tivities or disappears from a vessel, and (3) within ten days of the occurrence or death if an earlier report is not required by the foregoing provisions of this regulation. When the operator of a vessel cannot submit the report required by this regulation, the owner shall submit the required report
