Awards Given

Among the awards presented at a recent assembly at Rappahannock County High School which have not been previously reported are a biology award given Linda Thornhill by instructor John Toth; U. S. History, Karen Murray and outstanding student in social studies, Jimmy Swindler. These awards were made by B. Gale Titchenell.

Mrs. Betty Wood recognized a student in each of her home ecnomics groups: Margie Menefee in home ec I; Rhonda Foster in II and in the III-IV class, Pam Niskanen was selected for the merit. An outstanding science award went to Virginia Ellis and was given by Mr. Wood.

Rick Johnson was noted for being a gym aide and ftobert Moffett recognized Richie Burke. Chris Hitt and Jeff Jenkins for achievement in phys ed classes.

Recognized as Skyline District All-Stars in baseball were Rick Johnson, Nils Aylor, Brooke Miller and William Carter.
