The Rappahannock Recreation Association has announced a new date for the Community Picnic, originally scheduled for June 24. The new date is Sunday, September 10 and the celebration will feature a delicious chicken barbecue at 1 p.m. in addition to an outdoor celebration including country music, jazz, folk and bluegrass music. More than fifty prizes will be given away, all of which have been donated by area merchants. Included in the prizes will be S100 cash.

Announced

Janet Booth of Richmond and Quentin Earl Yancey of Viewtown were married Friday, May 26, 1978, in the Italian Rose Garden of Maymont Park, Richmond, in an informal wedding ceremony attended by members of the family and friends. A dinner attended by the wedding party and guests followed the ceremony. The couple is presently residing in Viewtown.
