Ineodore G. Scott Jr. of Orange, a retired metalurgist now ihtently involved in his “first loves,” ornothology, nature and photography, will be guest speaker at the June - 14 meeting of Amissville Ruritan Gub which will be held in the Amissville fire hall. The program which will start promptly at 8 p.m. is open to the public and is another effort of the club to be of service to the community and public in general.
Mr. Scott’s presentation of
Wreck
Robert Ramey of Flint Hill sustained injuries June 3 in a motorcycle accident on Route 630 near Foster’s Packing House, according to Trooper H. A. Newlin. Ramey was operating a '70 Suzuki cycle when he ran off the shoulder of the road, lost control in the tall grass and turned over, said Newlin.
Ramey was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital by Flint Hill Rescue unit for treatment.
Bible School
Vacation Bible School will begin at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Giurch, Sperryville, Monday, June 12 through Friday, June 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. each night. There will be classes for all age groups.
