Visiting Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett on Sunday were Mrs. Preston Avery of Winchester, Mrs. Henry Miller of Luray, Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance and Mrs. Catherine Brown of Sperryville.

Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Gabe Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther, Missy and Roy of Sperryville and Mrs. Paul Burke. Mrs. Gabe Burke’s daughter, Mrs. Mary Owens of Manassas visited her Tuesday.

Mrs. A. H. Keyser and R. E. Wood were in Charlottesville on Monday.

Mrs. Guy Burke returned home Tuesday after spending several days as the houseguest of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke in Culpeper. While there, she was visited by several of her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Edna Carney of Newport News was a guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Manson, from Friday until Monday and helped to cook for the spaghetti dinner served by Washington Fire Company.
