In addition to following advice in the folders, Hawkins advises thpf the model and serial numbers should be noted on all appliances, stereos, cameras, radios, TV’s, guns, etc. so in the event any are stolen, they may be identified if recovered. Keep your list of num.bers or have it filed with the Sheriff’s Department.
“Sound security practices and good locks are a deterrent and eliminate the opportunity for an easy burglary," said Hawkins. “People everywhere are looking for ways to protect themselves and their families.”
