Weakley is a:member and past president of the Rappahannock Lions Club and on the Board of Directors for the Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society. He is a past president of the county unit and former chairman for the Cancer Crusade fund drive.
A life member and past commander of Lorton American Legion Post 162, Weakley is also a member of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department and formerly served on the Department's Board of Directors.
Weakley and his wife Mary Katherine are members of the Etlan Methodist Church in Madison County.
Weakley’s term on the Rappahannock Board of Zoning Appeals will run through November, 1983.
