Joan Bailey is the Title I second grade aide for Beatrice Austin and Linda Wallace during their reading classes. Mrs. Bailey works with small reading groups on skills and activities. . helps with testing, files students' papers, collects ice cream and lunch money, reads stories to the children, assists with spelling and pronunciation activities and shows film strips to small groups.

Gracie Caliandro and Martha Kidwell are aides in kindergarten classes taught by Kathy Scott and Deborah Jett. They help children hang up their coats, supervise games, prepare and serve snacks, take class groups to the library, run errands, oversee the children getting dressed for recess and make sure students get on the correct bus at the end of the day.

Mary Clarke is an aide to Judy Sweetland in the new primary Title I reading lab. Early in the school year, Mrs. Clarke helped with assignments given by principal Graham Spencer and assistant principal Cheryl Ritchie. For the past six weeks, she has helped Mrs. Sweetland prepare materials.
