Twelve young people with their parents attended the first 4-H Livestock Club meeting with Rap Owing*, Randall Updike and David Thornhill at the Extension Office to discuss the animals the children can raise and the necessary requirements for a 4-H livestock project.
The next meeting of the 4H Livestock Club will be this Saturday, November 18, at 9 a.m. at the Extension Office. From there the children and their parents will drive to the Updike farm where Randall Updike and David Thornhill will talk on selecting, feeding and showing livestock.
All interested youth between ages 9 to 19 are invited to attend. Be sure to wear your old clothes and please bring a parent. The meeting will be over by noon,,,
