At a recent meeting of the center’s program committee, construction of the swimming pool was pinpointed as the next major thrust of the fund-raising campaign. Hunter indicated.
State 4-H Director Kenneth E. Dawson, of Virginia Tech, said the center will join a statewide network meeting needs created by the continuing growth of the 4-H program, noting that Virginia 4-H has a membership of more than 217,000.
