Rangers will again be patrolling the Park's boundary by helicopter and ground support teams. Park entrance stations will be manned into the night hours and Park neighbors are encouraged and requested to report suspicious activities by telephone to the Chief Park Ranger at 999-2243.
Superintendent Jacobsen j said these nighttime closures have caused little inconvenience to legitimate I Park visitors, have been useful in denying the use of .j Skyline Drive to poachers and have permitted Park Rangers to intensify their patrols elsewhere in the Park.
