Warner
Lead
Grows
Democratic hopes are eroding that a review of statewide voting tabulations might reverse the Nov. 7 election night reports and give Andrew Miller an edge over apparent U.S. Senate victor Republican John Warner.
Reports at the end of last week indicated that Warner’s lead over Miller had grown as the tally on 1869 of Virginia’s 1875 precincts reporting showed the Atoka resident with 613,294 votes contrasted with 608,782 votes for the former State Attorney General.
