Marion Bruce was a guest of his daughter, Mrs. Don Osburn for several days last week at Haymarket. Mrs. Osburn and daughter accompanied Mr. Bruce home on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown were honored with a family dinner on Saturday evening arranged by their children Tanya, Larry, Bob and Sarah Brown. The occcassion being Mr. and Mrs. Brown’s twenty-eighth wedding anniversary.

Have on hand some heavy paper, boxes, and other coverings for tender garden plants on first nights of frost, suggested Virginia Tech Extension home horticulturists. Often if the tender plants can be protected from the first early frost they will bloom for several more weeks.
