\.nnsimas...rasi, rresem, Yet To Come” is the theme this year of a flower show sponsored jointly by the South River Garden Club and the Valley Garden Club of Front Royal, to be held Saturday and Sunday. November 18 and 19, at the Union Hall on Chester Street.
The show will be opened to the public from 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Entrance is free but a green offering is welcome.
Classes are open to all amateur gardeners and flower arrangers, members as well as non-members of the garden clubs. All classes require pre-entry.
The show will be judged by nationally accredited flower show judges. It consists of major divisions in Horticulture, Artistic, Junior and Special Exhibits. The Special Exhibits will include Educational and Conservation materials and State and National Publications.
The Horticulture division will include houseplants, hanging basketsr flowering and non-flowering plants, miniature trees and others, in pots not to exceed 9 inches ja diameter. It also includes herbs and chrysanthemums in pots, sprays, or specimens or collections. A harvest section will include vegetables, ornamentals, and others worthy of exhibits. An arboreal section will include evergreens and fruited branches not to exceed 30 inches in length.
